Shabbat baBayit (Shabbat at Home)

Shabbat baBayit (Shabbat at Home)

Temple Concord is trying something new! On Friday evening, January 23, 2026, we’re going small-scale—there will be no service at Kimber Road. Instead, we’ll gather in intimate groups at congregant homes to share Shabbat dinners together.

Each home will have a volunteer service leader who will guide a brief, home-friendly service and discussion using materials created by Rabbi and Cantor. It’s a chance to experience the warmth and intimacy of Shabbat the way it’s been celebrated for generations—around someone’s table.

How to Participate:

You can choose to attend a Shabbat dinner at a fellow congregant’s home, or host a group in your own home. You can also volunteer to lead the brief service at your location.

Please note any food or pet allergies so we can match you with the right hosts and guests.

Join us as we come together, separately, to celebrate the magic of Shabbat!

Sun, Jan 25, 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM
